Attorney Byrnes Guillaume

Byrnes Guillaume is a private law firm owner with two practices in West Palm Beach and Port Saint Lucie. His firm provides legal solutions for individuals in need of legal services in Personal Injury, Criminal Defense, Commercial Litigation, Foreclosure Defense, Deportation, Family Law, and ad hoc law areas determined case by case.

 

Prior to becoming an attorney, he worked for United Technologies P&W Commercial Engines Legal/Contracts team. After leaving United Technologies P&W Commercial Engines, Byrnes relocated to South Florida, where he earned his experience as a prosecutor for the State Attorney office in the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit of Florida. Prior to joining the State Attorney’s office, he also worked as senior financial analyst for Sikorsky, Travelers Insurance and ADT.

 

Byrnes holds a BS degree in marketing from Florida State University, an MBA from Howard University and a Juris Doctorate from Western New England College School of Law. He is also a graduate of the Florida Bar Leadership Academy. He has held and currently holds several leadership and membership roles in the legal community which include being the past president of both the Haitian Lawyers Association and the F. Malcolm Cunningham Bar Association (FMCBA). Byrnes is a current board member of Palm Beach County Justice Association (PBJCA) and Families First of Palm Beach County. Byrnes also holds memberships with the Palm Beach Bar Association and the Virgil Hawkins Florida Chapter Bar Association of the National Bar Association.

 

In addition to being dedicated to his profession, Byrnes has dedicated his time by volunteering and giving back to his community. Byrnes also awards annual scholarships to deserving students each year from his Alma Maters, Western New England College School of Law, Howard University and Florida State University.

 

Byrnes is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. He is also a past president of the Parents and Teachers Organization at his son’s elementary school and a former board member of the PTA for his son’s high school.

 

When he is not fighting for his client’s rights, in his free time, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family and attending professional sporting events.
